We do not publish win-rates, average-return figures, or a historical "scoreboard" of our past calls. Backtest collection exists internally for engineering quality assurance, but it is never marketed as a user- facing performance promise. Every output on Stonvex is observational market data — a description of what is happening in the tape, not a forecast of what will happen next.
Every surface in the product flows from this pipeline. All inputs are licensed market data, public filings, or public-source news.
Real-time and 15-minute-delayed US equity quotes from Polygon.io ($29/mo Stocks Starter plan). Reference-ticker universe (~5,000 active US equities) also sourced from Polygon's /v3/reference/tickers endpoint.
Headlines pulled from Finnhub's /company-news endpoint (free tier, 60 calls/min). A deterministic keyword engine scores each headline for guidance changes, earnings beats/misses, dilution language, M&A activity, and FDA-related terms.
A rule engine produces the Catalyst / State / Watchpoint labels you see on activity rows. No AI generation, no forward-return modeling, no prediction. Each label is deterministic given the input data.
Rankings combine six normalized factors — volume, volatility, news flow, sentiment, dollar flow, and relative strength — into a single Activity Index. The index is a cross-sectional percentile rank on the current universe. It is not a prediction of future return.
Claude (Anthropic) produces structured English summaries on demand. Every figure in a summary is tagged [Actual], [Estimated], or [Assumption] so users can trace where each number came from. AI outputs are not investment advice.
Rankings refresh every 2 minutes. The activity feed refreshes every 60 seconds. The warmed screener universe is re-ingested on a Vercel Cron schedule. Market data may be delayed depending on your plan tier.
